Not familiar with that particular style but in my experience birks mould to your feet, so not sure I'd want them if they'd been worn in by someone else.

YourWinter · 25/06/2026 16:00

I have never bought new, mine were all from Vinted and no problems at all, I’m delighted!

MrsCarmelaSoprano · 25/06/2026 16:02

No, not Birkenstocks because they mould to your feet.

dontforgetme · 25/06/2026 16:04

God no, they mould to your feet and get sweat marks! Any other shoe I would and have done though.

DappledThings · 25/06/2026 16:05

Another one saying no just because of the fitting your own feet issue. Not becasue I think there's anything gross about it but I think they could easily never be comfortable moulded to someone else's foot shape.

NChangeorama · 25/06/2026 16:06

Nope. I love my birks but just no, not ones someone else has had.

Boreded · 25/06/2026 16:08

Not a chance. They mould to your feet and you can see the toe imprints in them…grim

quirkychick · 25/06/2026 16:09

I bought some from ebay a couple of years ago and they were fine. They had hardly been worn, so I would look for new or brand new with tags. Then there's no issue with them being moulded to someone else's feet.

managingexpectations · 25/06/2026 16:09

echoing previous posters that they mould to your foot shape/pressure points so my concern would be they weren’t particularly comfortable and I’m not sure how well they remould to your contours etc
if you could get a pair that were second hand but not worn all that much maybe but it’s a risk that might backfire.

cantquiteknityet · 25/06/2026 18:06

Mine have all been from Vinted and haven’t had any issues

mcmuffin22 · 25/06/2026 18:30

You would have to wear them a lot before the footbed moulded to your feet. My dd borrows mine and has no trouble. However I wouldn't buy used one unless they had never been worn.

YourWinter · 25/06/2026 21:55

It’s pretty easy to ascertain how worn they are from the ad on Vinted, ask for more photos if you’re not convinced. Mine have all been hardly worn, usually because the seller didn’t get on with the two-strap style that I like.

SuperGinger · 25/06/2026 22:02

Not unless you had a weird fetishism, ughh imagine sweaty feet in them - puke

They're actually on Farfetch, not Vinted, so are returnable.

They look ok from the pictures and the description says, Condition: GOOD. This previously owned and used item is in good condition with minimal signs of use.

But I've never bought used shoes before, other than riding boots, so find it a little weird
