Whole New Wardrobe

I am in the process of losing a a lot of weight, 4 stone to date, I have another stone to go yet but when I have done this I am going to buy myself a whole new wardrobe. I have started to think about what to buy as the end is in sight so to speak and I don't know where to start.

I used to be really into clothes etc but as I have got bigger I have bothered less and less just buying any old cheap tat that fits and I've been making do with this stuff whilst I've been losing weight.

I am a SAHM and would like some suggestions as to what to buy and how much to buy. I thought the buying clothes part would be great but I just feel daunted at the prospect, all I've come up with is a couple of pairs of jeans. I need more than that so please HELP.

I'm 30, I'm hoping to end up a size 12, I'm a 14 at the moment, i have huge boobs currently 34 HH after losing weight so not sure about shirts but will try some. What about a vest top underneath and buttoning up to just below boobs?

I like skirts and trousers I have a problem with working out what sort of trousers I could wear day to day though. I always think they are too formal.

Debenhams used to do a FREE personal shopper thing where you tell them about your life and needs for clothes and they run around the shop and hunt down things for you to try. I was a bit dubious at first but tried on things I would have ordinarily walked past and found a load of fresh stuff to wear. Even if you don't buy from there, it gives you an idea of what suits your new figure. Well done on the weight loss BTW.

I have to say I have my doubts about the debs personnal shopper, which is why I started here. I have used them before and never bought anything they suggested and to be honest the ones in my local store have some issues with dressing themselves (extremely bitchy I know but lots of people I know agree).

Are there any high street shops you can buy converse in I never seem to see them but do quite fancy a pair. I am not sure I know what shoes you mean , I know what ballet shoes are but not the elastic part.

Does fat face count as surfy I have bought stuff from there in the sale but lots of mums round here wear it. I think part of my problem is that for so long the clothes in high street shops wouldn't fit me I am now scared of going in and being laughed out.

Ok so numbers

2 pairs of jeans, how may of pairs of trousers, skirts do you think I would need? Bearing in mind that I am making do with 2 pairs of jeans at the moment mixed with all my old tops which are quite baggy to say the least!

I feel really ol when I walk round shops though and I am not sure I know how to put a 'look' together. This is so pathetic coming from someone who really used to know how to dress and if I say so myself look quite good. I don't even know what suits my body shape anymore.

Anyone else got some suggestions? On another matter what do we think of scarves as accessories ?

I love wide linen trousers with vest and big necklace for daytime look if not very hot;I add a shrug type thing or pretty cardigan if cooler.
Dresses and skirts from Fat Face/White Stuff great for everyday too.
