Not too bothered about being on trend but not sure whether this has had its day.

Long floral dress, not cool fabric but thinking maybe keep for winter and wear with a cropped cream jumper and chunky shoes or boots?

I'd keep that for autumn/ winter, I really like the colour.

The colour is lovely but I wouldn't put a jumper over it, that would spoil the line of the dress. You could get a cropped/boxy cardigan instead.

A boxy, cropped or over sized jumper or as PP suggested a cardigan, opaque tights and flat boots or loafers. I wouldn't go for cream - either brown, black or green, not bright green but sort of khaki, army camouflage green.

I agree with @PhaedraTwo, stay away from cream but brown or blue could work well.

That’s lovely and I’d absolutely wear it in summer, when it’s a little cooler and sleeves are in order, personally I’d wear it with either flat sandals or tan smart trainers, I’d even consider for work with some flat pointy ballet flats.

It seems a perfectly fine dress - lovely for late summer, early autumn. (It is supposed to be a good fabric for hot weather, but useless for a sweaty person.)

In cooler weather I’d be more inclined to add a vest (in addition to a slip) beneath, rather than a jumper or cardigan. And then, if necessary, a suede jacket or long tweed coat as an outer layer. Definitely with the latest style in knee high boots. Or block heeled, pointy toed Mary Jane shoes with interestingly coloured opaque tights.

I agree with putting something underneath it in cooler weather. The sleeves aren’t narrow and will look better without anything on top.

It was a good price (second hand) but it then occurred to me its because im a few years behind the floral dress trend.
I love the colour though and I like it on so I'll keep it. Some good suggestions thanks.

It’s not floral floral and green is very on trend now. It’s really lovely.

I wear my similar green dress with a red cardi. It really works.
