8 point facial filler- your experiences please

The doctor who does my Botox has suggested this. I have marked volume loss around my temples and lower facial sag which he thinks would respond well to 4mls over 8 points and give a subtle yet impactful result.

Im so tempted. I would love a deep plane facelift BUT I cannot take that time off work and would not want work to know I’ve had it done so it’s out the question for another ten years or so until I retire (I’m 51)

has anyone loved their facial fillers or regretted /hated the result?

I don’t know if she does regret it, but Baroness Brady should regret it.

I’ve been getting fillers for a while and on the whole like them. I think as long as the person you are going to injects you where they think you need it and tailors the treatments to your face you should like it. The good thing about fillers is you can get them dissolved/removed if you aren’t happy.
The filler areas I rate most are temple fillers (although make sure you get these under ultrasound guidance due to the risks in this area), cheek fillers and liquid rhinoplasty.
I don’t love under eye fillers. I’ve had these twice by two different doctors and each time I felt the filler migrated. I don’t love lip fillers. I’m 52 and just don’t think they look great. I’d never get lip filler again. I’m not sure I’m a fan of jaw fillers either. Never had these as I’m wary of looking masculine.

How much do you trust your doctor? It's only a job for the super experienced I would say. I have a GP do my Botox and filler and it's v subtle because she's really good. And of course expensive, alas.

The doctor is a surgeon by training (facial) who has been doing solely aesthetics for about 15 years and whilst I would say he clearly has great credentials and his many trust pilot reviews are fantastic, I haven’t personally been going to see him long.

It was me that brought up the subject of fillers and he said I would be a good candidate. He emphasised not making me heavy on the jaw angle and avoiding the tear troughs etc but wasn’t very detailed in his consultation. His aim is subtle ‘you look well’ rather than any dramatic change but it’s a lot of money to find that sweet spot between different enough to be worth it but no so different it’s a waste of money!

I'm keen to hear experiences of this 8 point approach from a wider audience I guess and if 4mls sounds about right?

My mum recently got it and she looks great. I’m not gonna be one of those who says she looks 30 when she’s 65 but she looks great and it’s taken a few years off. I do think some of it is the filler but part of it is that she’s more confident now so it’s a bit of both.

These are interesting thank you.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the volume he’s suggesting? Anything I should be asking or look out for?
