YES. And I'd still wear it now at 42, albeit it wouldn't be hiding a micro mini and fishnets for if the moment arose.

Oh yes. 19 year old goth me would have worn that. I would have pinned up the side to show off the underskirt.

I too bought part of my wardrobe from a sex shop. It was a fab metal choker. Sadly I turned out to be allergic to nickel.

I would definitely. Early 50s now and still love goth style, but was never a goth. My parents wouldn't allow it or anything that even hinted at at style.

I was in 20s when I was a goth and I would definitely have worn it. That was a long time ago...

I also bought clothes in sex shops! A lovely black corset with several looped silver chains. Numerous types of fishnet.

I got rid of my Dark Angel clothing, but still wear a lot of black. And velvet.

ETA still have my Dark Angel long gloves.

Definitely. She sounds like she has the imagination to make it her own, even if it isn’t strictly “gothic”. Band tee, waistcoat, big boots and lots of chains sounds amazing!

I went through all stages of hippy, goth, grunge and rave. I WISH I still had some of my old clothes, especially my German army shirt and satchel, which I lived in!

My teen daughter (also going through the alt stages) would have loved it all! I recently dug out my 90s stash of iridescent body glitter and bindis for her and she was over the moon!
