Frizzy hair that won't cooperate.. tried everything, nothing works :(

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with frizz and flyaways for a while now and can't seem to get them under control. I use a blow dryer brush to style my hair so I might be causing damage without realizing it. I've tried anti-frizz products but they don't really help, and letting it air dry somehow makes it even frizzier. Any advice?

You have curly hair. Unfortunately a frizzy canopy is part of that! I use mousse on mine when it's soaking wet.

My hair used to be completely straight when I was a teenager and now I feel like I have wavy/curly hair (I'm 25 now), is it possible for hair to change so much? :0

My hair was poker straight as a teen and I had it permed often. I always wondered why it would drop at the front but stay curly at the back. It turned out I have a triangle section of hair at the back that is curly and the front is straight. Now I've gone into menopause it's gone even more curly all over right from the roots.
Serums are great for stopping frizz but if it's at the scalp it might make it look greasy. John Frieda does a rice hair rinse which is for volume, but I've used it on my hair when it was seriously damaged through too much dying and it's magic stuff. I used it after shampooing but before conditioner and it really helped smooth my hair down

I don’t know if anyone has already suggested this – Olaplex Nº.6 Bond Smoother (I only use this one). My hair used to be straight and nice, but now the frizz is just insane. After washing my hair and drying it off a bit (so it’s almost dry), I add half a pump to the mid lengths to ends (I have long hair), and I even apply it to dry hair sometimes. I just wish someone had told me about it before :D Thanks google I guess. It really worked for me and significantly reduced frizz

Spray hairspray onto your wet hands and smooth it down.

A decent bond repairing shampoo and conditioner could help. I like Amika and Nux. Also OGX for a more budget friendly ones.

a decent lesve in conditioner like Aveda. I sometimes use Curlsmith air dry leave in conditioner and that’s good.

mousse. The L’Oréal glycolic gloss is good. Gisou honey milk leave in conditioner spray mist is a game changer, I use it on dry hair inbetween washes. The ouai anti frizz creme is also excellent. Sadly I find the more expensive stuff works better than the high street stuff. Get in space nk and use the testers! I know you can only use them on dry hair but it’ll give you an idea.
