Foundation for dry skin - in perimenopause

Hoping for the collective wisdom. I am 45 (almost 46) and have very dry skin. I am in perimenopause and getting some hormonal acne on and around my chin. I need a foundation or skin tint with medium coverage and a dewy finish. I don’t want to spend more than £20. I have a medium skin tone with neutral-leaning to cool undertone.

Foundations I have tried:
Elf soft glam - too drying on my skin
Maybelline skin tint - love bit struggled with matching my skin tone
Maybelline Pro Filter - like this a lot
L’Oreal True - like this a lot
It Cosmetics CC - used the version for dry skin and really liked it but expensive

Since you already like things like those brand formulas, I’d stay in that direction & just focus on finding a better undertone match. "Dewy but thin layers" almost always perform better on dry changing skin than thicker medium-coverage products that start breaking up during the day.

I bought this when travelling, after I forgot to pack my (previous favourite) Fenty softlit foundation - and think i prefer this now! It is excellent for a cheap foundation - not drying, medium coverage, buildable, and flattering finish.

Also available from other suppliers.

The best foundation and match I’ve had is from dcypher it’s medium coverage, lightweight, finest go cakey even when layered with lots of other makeup and it wears really well.
I was so sceptical when I ordered it but I’d never be without
I’m 43 with normal to dry skin and use tret so sometimes get drier areas

I just wasn’t sure it was ‘It’. I am mostly struggling with my current texture, and just wondered if there was anything I hadn’t considered.

Edited

Have your tried the lighter serum version? I used to use the foundation and this, and I’ve not bothered with the foundation for aaaages as I love the coverage and finish of the lighter formula.

Sephora also sell Glossier. If you add it as one of your two favourite brands, you will get 10% off it.
Re Lumene, keep an eye on Boots £10 Tuesdays online. They often have Lumene products on offer.
I'm also a fan of the Katie Jane Hughes Foundation application method.
You can also add a drop or two of your serum to your foundation to make it more moisturising.

I have dry, light neutral skin. My current favourite light foundations/skin tints are Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint in T6. I also like to blend a pump of Glossier L2 foundation with a few drops of the Glossier Skin Tint (which is very sheer by itself so great for a very natural look).

Thanks - is that a primer or a foundation/skin tint?

It’s multi use, I use it on its own day to day and over foundation (Laura Mercia is the one I use) for full coverage.

No 7 hydraluminous gives good coverage, dewy finish and is around your price point.
