Browsing vinted, I realised it's becoming the norm for sellers to take a photo of the item and then add loads of AI images of it 'being worn'. But so many don't match the garment in question and are obviously fake, does this actually help anyone? One seller has all of her items done this way, but the AI obviously got bored of the neutral rug and vase of roses on the dresser, and the phone the model held in front of her face, it had to keep creating each time that it changed them.
I often think it's helpful if a real photo of something being worn is added, or if a seller puts it on a mannequin, but surely this is just opening up cases where the thing delivered doesn't match what was advertised? Or am I behind the times.
