I am looking for top end high street and brands like Sézane and & Other Stories. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to find some designer pieces however it’s probably not going to happen given my budget.

Where do you think would be good?

There’s a Fara in Islington near Angel station too.

Yes Pimlico going into Victoria is wall to wall good chazza shops. The Royal Trinity has a designer rail. Octavia is big, there's a Mind and a Terrance Higgins Trust on Churton St, Hospices of Hope, Sue Ryder and Fara on Warwick way, Retromania on Upper Tachbrook.. I'm sure I've missed some out.

Can't thank you enough for your post! There's my next day out in London sorted.

@cannotfindanickname is the Fara at Angel any good? We’re at Sadlers Wells for the ballet next week so am hoping to make a slight detour if I have the time!

Crisis in Camden Parkway has a great mixture of designer and vintage, plus not extortionate

Kings and Fulham Roads from Parsons Green towards Putney Bridge - especially Fara.

No, it really isn’t. I went a few weeks ago and it was like a really bad jumble sale.

I used to love charity shop browsing and buying - used to regularly go in North London and occasionally in West London.

Now you can very rarely pick up something but most of it is stuff that is not good enough to sell on Vinted. Very occasionally you may find something nice but then it is likely to be very overpriced.

Vinted is the way to go.

@NeedWineNow. They have some good things there sometimes. It is very close to Sadlers Wells so worth the detour.

Thanks @cannotfindanickname and @Newmeagain

The pimlico cluster are good. Other than that think about where people live who are likely to buy high end not designer - Clapham is good northcote road is better than the high street although there are a couple of good ones on the pavement if you do go for the latter. North and west London will have similar areas.

I'm in Victoria tomorrow getting a coach to Bristol and I'm going to arrive early and have a mooch round some of the Pimlico shops. I had no idea they were going to come out so popular on thus thread! See if I can pick up some lovely bargains to take home. 🤩
