Flattish beige growths on chest - how to get rid?

I have these flattish, beige ish growths on my chest. Does anyone know what they are? Or how to get rid? I have been trying diclonfenic acid based on another thread but no success.

It seems I have more and more of these types of things so am trying to keep on top of them all.

I have successfully removed skin tags with the tiny elastic bands but not sure about these.

Always get irregular skin changes checked out. Please do this as some skin cancers spread quickly and are dangerous.

Once you’ve done that and GP has confirmed they don’t need to refer you to dermatology, google sebhorreic keratosis. I think they might start like that before they turn more brown and crusty.

But please get them checked first.

Definitely go to the GP - they are most likely harmless but could be early skin cancer.

I have these on my torso and quite a few on the front of my thigh. Yours do look like sebhorreic keratosis but as others have said, check with your GP first. I’ve had mine for 15 years, started with a couple when I was pregnant but unfortunately have got more over the years. I used Bazuka on a couple to see if it would get rid of them - it did but they just grew back quickly and identical. I’ve recently read that Vicks gets rid of them so I’m going to try that soon! Not holding out any hope but I’ll try anything.

Update on what they say

BatFeminist · 24/05/2026 18:37

I had a few things like that checked. Each one he looked at the doctor said ‘that’s a wart type growth’ or similar and after the fifth time I was thinking fine I’m just covered in warts

it was really easy I had to send a picture through an app, always worth checking out. Only one appointment. I didn’t go 5 times to be diagnosed as warty

Update on what they say

Absolutely nobody owes updates to internet threads. Nobody owes updates about personal health issues on internet threads even if they have sought advice from said threads.

Completely agree. If you want an update because you have similar issues, then take the advice and see someone yourself.

Otherwise it’s just a ghoulish need to hear someone else’s bad news.
