Can you help my unfashionable quest for a cardigan?

I have a longing for a nice, belted, cream or beige cable knit cardigan. Ideally:

1. longish so it covers my bum - is that what is called a coatigan? not sure -
2. pure wool (I like Aran wool but flexible)
3. with buttons (not open front) and
4. pockets.

I am well aware they’re not in fashion right now, and I don’t care. I have tried all the obvious brands, AI, and Vinted, and still can’t find one.

I’m picturing myself wearing it on a cool summer evening, walking on a beach. In reality I’m about to have major surgery and will probably use it as a dressing gown of sorts.

Might be a good idea to sew belt loops into the cardigan in that case, so the various belts don’t end up scattered across the floor of the ward?

Thank you all for the support, recommendations and wishes. Sadly I don’t know of a local knit-on-demand shop. I still haven’t found the perfect cardigan, so I will keep looking. Who wants to bet that belted chunky cable knits will be back in fashion in two years’ time 😊

Do you have any knit and natter groups near you @Koulibiak ? Most meet in local cafes and I'll bet there will be at least one person happy to help.

Im irish and have just put lots like this in charity shops..was going to put on vinted but didn't think it would sell..try on some irish sites id say you'd find it easy enough xx

No belt

Sounds like you need to get either buttons or a belt and then add one of the other. I can’t see many manufacturers adding both because one closure system is usually considered sufficient.

Can you put a woven leather belt with the Hof Bruar one?

Sadly no belt. Not many with buttons seem to have a belt. Worth a browse on Etsy though where you can contact sellers.
