Short Term Glow Up Advice!

In three weeks a dear friend is getting married. I adore her and her groom and I'm very excited. It's quite a big reception, so I will be seeing a bunch of old colleagues, friends of friends and people I like but lost touch with. And I'd quite like to knock the socks off my plus one! I'd really like to look my best. A recent bout of severe food poisoning has left me quite trim but looking a bit rough, and I'd like a healthy, glossy glow for the wedding.

So far I've:
Completely cut out alcohol
Bought a teeth whitening kit
Booked an eyebrow appointment
Booked a hair appointment (due one anyway)

What else can I add to the list?

Really good facial, about a week out, not too close.

Is there a type of facial you would recommend? Looking at the list my local salon offers, I'm spoiled for choice.

Start body brushing, your skin will be in excellent condition and then a little gradual tan if that’s your thing. If you feel up to it after being ill some exercise gives you a good glow and confidence.

Hydrafacials give immediate results with no down time.

Weekly organic veg box - three times as much as you would normally eat.

Lots of salmon and avocados. (Truly.)

Some type of massage every week.

Seven hours undisturbed sleep every night.

The right type of exercise to completely perfect your posture. (Maybe you have this already!)

Where are you located?
Also depends on skin type/condition etc

If you dont already do so, make sure you are drinking plenty of water daily. It is amazing what a difference this can make to your face.

I'm in the South East. My skin is in pretty good condition - I use tretinoin and haven't got too much aging yet. It tends more to oiliness rather than dryness and I get hormonal spots round my chin. Since getting ill, I look a bit sallow and lifeless - that's something I hope a facial could improve.

A vitamin C serum would be a good start.
