Tote bag for teenager on holiday

I'm looking for a beach compatible tote bag for my 15 year old DD, for summer holiday, sturdy enough for heavier things like books and big water bottle. Budget only about £30 as it's a birthday present idea for someone else to give her, but they want a steer on style. Anyone's daughter got anything suitable you could share? I'm thinking something more canvas / sturdy but a bag not a basket style. This is ok but might be too 'floppy' https://www.fatface.com/style/su850912/w79571

I have an L L Bean one. It's a classic and sturdy. It can show dirt though.

As regards the Le Pliage - tooo 'school bag' at the moment.

Came on to second Longchamp. Vinted have some great barely used ones. I’ve had a few over the years and my kids borrow them. A lot.

Olivia bonas have some really nice ones in. I've just bought the green stripey one and it's perfect for the beach/pool.

John Lewis currently has Tommy Hilfiger classic totes for just £7 each.
I bought two last week, ready for the summer hols.

I’ve been coveting these two bags, but then I’m a lot older than your daughter

Brandy Melville is a popular brand with that age group

Good idea, she has some Brandy Melville clothes

I'm rarely seen without my LL Bean so I suspect she wouldn't go there! (the inside is filthy so I have to keep it full of stuff 😂)

Tell your DD to keep it out of the way of the cat. Pesky creature (I have one too, a cat).

DDs can be pesky creatures too 😁

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who put the effort in to make suggestions. The godmother now has a brilliant shortlist. I wish I could reply to you all! 😘

That’s so nice for sainsburys!

That Tu tote from Sainsburys for a tenner is a great price - even better with my Nectar points!

Gymshark have some nice ones

Bargain even with delivery costs

Ooh this could be a late addition to the shortlist. Very keen on the RNLI

My dd (16) would want something plain, no stripes, in her favourite summer colour - pale blue in her case.

She'll want to get her own bag...

Not according to the OP - she'd prefer someone else to choose 🙂

In this situation dd asked for Fjallraven tote that converts to backpack. It’s perfect. I bought DD’s second hand on Vinted for £45 which is a bit over your budget but it’s such a great bag and once or twice I’ve borrowed it myself…
