Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

I have via email from YSL. I haven’t received my order or even a dispatch email yet but the voucher arrived this morning.

Just a word of caution re grow gorgeous for anyone prone to sensitivities. I tried the hair mask, on the second application (as is usual with contacts) I had an allergic reaction that spread from neck down to my legs. It’s took about 3 weeks to resolve, I had to use steroid cream in the end,

I received mine just after 10am today, I've not tried to use it yet though.

Oh no @SummerLimes! I've used almost my whole big tub and no reactions for me, and I do have sensitive skin although I've only ever had a full allergic reaction to that plumping lip oil recently. I wonder what ingredient caused it? Maybe some sort of nut, or caffeine? It is heavily fragranced.

I’m 90% sure was the hair mask, I hadn’t used anything else new. I have had reactions before with things like salsa, once had lip selling with wine (that was a worry), I can go years between reactions though. I think I’d used it too liberally. All ok now, and I didn’t mean to worry you, and probably it’s fine for people who aren’t prone to reactions.

Please don’t apologise, I’m grateful for the warning, I react to very random products and edibles, so constantly on the lookout for how something new might affect me.

Not had the wine reaction 😱 but that would be scary!

Has anyone tried the texture spray in the recent Liberty edit? Is it any good? Is it basically hairspray?

I was tempted by Black Lotus, it gets good reviews! But I have so many perfumes already.

Me too but when has that ever stopped me 😂😂

I was badly affected by spending years trying to get through perfumes I no longer liked but didn’t want to waste 😅 it’s made me very cautious about perfumes!

I have just ordered 100ml of Arizona Bloom - my favourite perfume atm.

Did c&c to save money. No idea how that works at my local TKMAXX as have never done it before, but resisted my usual over-ordering to get free postage as I didn’t want it to go OOS whilst I was faffing about adding stuff to basket.

I have several 10ml FS already, but am really happy to get my hands on a big bottle, so no buyer’s regret at all! I will give it to DH to give me for Xmas.

When I first searched, floral dresses came up 🙈. Then there was nothing showing under ‘Fragrance’. Weirdly, the FS perfumes then came up on a third search!

There’s still some left atm.

Your Xmas stockpile is adding up!

@IlovePond my SK order arrived a day early, but that didn’t help on the hiding it from DH front as I left the massive box lying around in the hallway until he got home 🤦‍♀️

Not properly unpacked yet but here’s the pics - I’m going to get stuck into the makeup box right away and delighted to have azalaic acid too. Luckily they sent a few samples with the 2 bottles so I’m going to test those before opening the big ones. Also v excited to try the factor 50spf glow setting spray!

In my limited defence, when I say that DH is not good at buying presents if left to his own devices, that is a massive understatement.

One year he found a Toast t-shirt I had bought secondhand and left in its bag to wash. He thought he’d bought it, so wrapped it and proudly presented it to me at Xmas. It was screwed up in a ball and a bit grubby - goodness knows what he was thinking! (I wasn’t happy…)
