Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

Thanks everyone who continues to contribute to the chatter and welcome to any newbies who want to join in.

I think they will wait until they have sorted out the upgrade issues they are having. It’s taking quite a while though.

The link on beauty detective takes you to the Space Nk home page with more details so must be launching imminently - the spend is £185

JoRaRaRa · 20/05/2026 08:30

SummerLimes · 20/05/2026 06:22

I was looking at this yesterday but couidbt work out the offer, is it a GWP and a perfume voucher?

Yes, it says you get the perfume voucher, the perfume discovery set, a mens travel size aftershave and then if you spend over £120 and use the code MYGIFT you can also get a little gwp which includes a makeup bag, travel size libre perfume, a mascara, a lipstick and a lip liner.

Nothing is adding to the basket. Their it systems are a bit of a mess atm. I wonder if it’s live in store?

Thelifeofawife · 20/05/2026 09:32

I’d have been interested as I do have a soft spot for SNK, but everything that I would want from that bundle I already have in my stash

SummerLimes · 20/05/2026 09:51

Thank you @JoRaRaRa that’s an excellent offer (which I won’t be able to resist).

My Harvey Nichols GWP just arrived and it is very tiny. This is good for me, because I have too much stuff and really don't want to accumulate anything else that I'll never use. There are a few things in this I'm looking forward to trying and I've just put on the Bob lip gloss which is lovely. I also really like the Chanel foundation that I bought, will see how it holds up through the day!

I forgot I was still waiting for this. It’s taking them ages to dispatch. I had high hopes for this gwp because the others have been a bit meh.

Doglover73 · 20/05/2026 12:18

Re space nk gwp.
Yes not adding to cart 🤔
But I think im resisting as spent with liberty yesterday on edits x

OvaHere · 20/05/2026 12:44

HN have 20% cashback today for anyone still thinking about the GWP.

I remember seeing an edit with a compact mirror. Mine has just broke, but I can't for the life of me find the edit I saw. Does anyone know what the edit it is? I know I didn't dream it

The Westman Atelier edit has a compact mirror in - only one that comes to mind

RockaLock · 20/05/2026 14:34

I’ve been very restrained recently and not bought any edits or GWPs - I am finally at the end of what seemed like an endless stash of stuff from previous GWPs and edits and I actually feel a huge amount of relief to have finished them all, and to finally be using products that I’ve bought rather than using things up just because it’s there.

But, thanks (I think!) to @user593 I’ve just splashed out £80 at TK Maxx and bought an MZ Skin moisturiser, essence and a glow recipe toner Blush

I think my beauty buying from now on will be focused on getting things with discounts, or a with a free product that I am actually interested in, rather than accumulating a new stash.

But, obviously, never say never Grin and in the meantime I will carry on enjoying hearing about everyone else’s purchases!

There was a Refy mirror in the Hearst RED box.. but i suspect that's not what you are thinking of

Branster · 20/05/2026 14:47

@Leftrightleft Harpers Bazaar or Red box had a Refy mirror. I can’t remember which one. From Hearst magazines beauty boxes.

Leftrightleft · 20/05/2026 14:52

It was the hearst, but I think it was in a double set, which i now can't find. Will search this thread as think the link is here somewhere. Thank you so much

Beautyfox · 20/05/2026 14:55

@OvaHere we share a birthday month. I wondering which company gave you your favourite gift and which gave you the worst one?
For me my favourite by far is Diptyque. They sent me a code to choose a classic candle (value £38). It came beautifully wrapped and really felt like a birthday gift. Second was SNK (classic member). I liked how the gift came in a little happy birthday bag with a ribbon with no strings (minimum spend etc). It felt thoughtful.
My least favourite was Harrods (green tier). The double points were for such a short period of time that I just didn’t get chance to use them. Followed by clarins (£10 off £50 and free gift) and HN (15% off) both of their birthday gifts looked great but had soo many restrictions that I just couldn’t use them. Why would I want to purchase 2 bottles of body oil for £90 to save £10 and get a free gift that was smaller than the free gift available to everyone on the app and didn’t stack and it excluded the gift sets which were not excluded from the normal gwp.

I really would be interested in peoples favourites to make sure I’m signed up for next year.

IlovePond · 20/05/2026 15:16

I like the look of that SNK GWP, but am definitely not in the market for a £300 spend anywhere!

My SK order arrived today unexpectedly. Obviously I shouldn’t have bought any of it, but it’s pretty good value for just under £50, (inclusive of VAT and with free shipping).

I am going to give the make up Glow Edit box to DH to give me for Xmas.

The rest of my order I will start using relatively soon.

I’m attaching some pics, in case anyone is interested.

That really must be my last beauty purchase for a while. I am getting through my stash, but do not need anything else!

My list. I haven't used all of them.

Favourite is SNK - full size MZ eye cream (Deluxe member)

I'm not signed up to Diptyque but now wondering if I should. I assume you need a purchase history or to reach a certain level for a candle?

Next best gift was probably Rituals - full size hand wash (had to make purchase so I bought the soap bar I use regularly).

YSL candle (scent is Y which I think is their men's range) which I added to my order with them. I can't see me liking this so it will go to DS or on Vinted.

I seem to have got 2 Sephora birthday gifts (Glow Recipe minis). I went in store to collect but it's not registered on my account anywhere that I picked it up so I could add it again to an online order.

Cult Beauty £25 off sounds good but as it's a £100 spend I did debate letting it expire. In the end I used it to order some hair and body stuff. I noted that it stacks with Gold member discounts so I was able to add Augustinus Bader products with the 15% Gold discount then stack the £25 off on top. I didn't use it on AB in the end but the info might be useful for someone else.

Harrods double points worked out for me because I was going to the store anyway planning to purchase.

HN was 15% online only code (used it to get a Dermalogica serum, Dior lipstick, perfume discovery set and Maria Nila Hairspray + GWP) This was a bit impulsive as I really didn't need a 2nd GWP)

Anthropologie 15% code (used in store on clothes)

Olive Young 10 points ($10) (not used)

Jarrolds 20% code (used to get a gift for someone else)

Clarins £10 off £50 (not used)

Look Fantastic £5 code (bought multi vitamins)

Kiko Milano free nail polish with order (not used - if I end up getting something later and it's still valid I will)

Holland and Barrett in store choice of - (might go in next week)
Holland & Barrett High Protein BBQ Plant Puff Crisps
Holland & Barrett Ginger Flapjack
Holland & Barrett Apple & Cinnamon Flapjack
Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Lip Balm SPF 15
Dr. PawPaw Shimmer Balm

Lancome 10% code (not worth it unless I was going to buy anyway)

Shiseido £10 gift card (not clear if there's a min spend as I haven't checked but probably won't redeem)

Lisa Eldridge points added (not sure how many)

Boots Double points all month

Something free in the Greggs app (not checked yet)

The kbeauty edits are all such good value. I've had to ban myself from all of them for a good while otherwise it gets out of hand. I don't think I've ordered since about Oct last year. It's the only thing I'm doing well sticking to. 😂
