Too white for wedding?

Is this dress too white/cream for a wedding? Planning on wearing it to a casual wedding in June but a bit worried about it being a white/cream background. Thanks!

You will get very mixed responses on this. For me, it's not that white but I do personally think if you have to ask, don't bother. Go in something you'll be 100% care free in so you can enjoy yourself.

Amira83 · 10/05/2026 20:48

I think its totally fine, as it has an allover coloured pattern, if it were a more plain cream / white then id say definitely not.. obvs my opinion only) enjoy the wedding

Iwiicit · 10/05/2026 20:49

I think it's lovely and absolutely fine!

NotTheOrdinary · 10/05/2026 20:50

No it's perfectly fine.

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 10/05/2026 20:52

Not too white at all.It is a nice dress.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 10/05/2026 20:58

I've just bought this dress for my holiday! Definitely not too white for a wedding

WonderingWanda · 10/05/2026 21:19

If I wore this to a wedding and the bride got the hump because it was too white then I don't think I could be friends with her anymore. It isn't white, it's an entirely patterned fabric and looks nothing like a wedding dress.

AbundantFlowers · 10/05/2026 21:24

It’s fine

BasiliskStare · 10/05/2026 21:34

Perfectly OK

Besidemyselfwithworry · 10/05/2026 21:35

It’s lovely where’s it from?

Namingbaba · 10/05/2026 21:36

Surely the no white rule is so you’re not mistaken for the bride. No one is going to think that with this dress, so you’re fine.

SandrenaIsMyBloodType · 10/05/2026 21:36

I take a pretty hard line on this subject and I still think this one is fine

TheChosenTwo · 10/05/2026 21:38

Looks fine to me, the pattern distracts plenty enough from the background.

Ghostspritz · 10/05/2026 21:38

It’s fine. Not remotely bridal or has plenty of colour.

Slothlydoesit · 10/05/2026 21:43

Totally fine. Lovely dress. Not white.

Zov · 10/05/2026 21:44

It's not white. It's fine.

Bristolandlazy · 10/05/2026 21:44

Sorry I didn’t open the photo - I really like that

SouthernNights59 · 10/05/2026 21:52

In what world is this even remotely white? Honestly, you Brits are just weird, it's a perfectly acceptable dress to wear to a wedding.

Us Brits are so weird.........? Confused Everyone has said it's not too white! And how do you know the OP is British? OR all the people answering?!

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/05/2026 22:04

Don’t be silly, on what planet would this be too white? In short, it’s fine op, it’s a nice dress, go for it.
