Help a skint emo! Does this look ok for a summer wedding outfit?

Does this sort of style work on you? If you don't fancy skulls at a wedding, hell bunny do similar in different fabrics
Though I think they're discreet enough to get away with it

Have a look for All Saints maybe? Dark florals are also good I think. I know some people lose their minds about black at weddings but you know your bride and groom.

My Vinted is now giving me florals 😊…. I thought the asymmetrical hem on this was very All Saints inspired but ASOS and £10!!!! Bargain.

All Saints on Vinted is a really good shout for subtly gothic wedding-guest-appropriate dresses.

I buy all my wedding and party attire from Hell Bunny. They do gorgeous alt clothing that's suitable for all occasions!

I went to a wedding once and let my normal mohawk down, soft makeup and wore a summer dress. People didn't recognise me.

It’s closer to what was goth back in the day but with maybe an anime or furry twist, can be quite bondagey, adjacent to the very recognisable style people call ‘alt.’

@PistachioTiramisu Emo Is a subculture like goth, punk, mod, etc. they’re based on music, fashion, aesthetics, social codes etc.

There are a LOT of dresses in the Next clearance that would fit the criteria
They sell a lot of brands

It’s great but I don’t like the spaghetti belt. Can you find a better suede or leather narrow one.

I have that exact dress (the first one OP shared) and wore it to an outdoor summer wedding a few years ago. It’s a lovely dress but the side split is quite revealing, in case that bothers you.

I think the first dress is the nicest 🙂
