Opinions please. Old, bit shabby shoes that colour match outfit, or brand new ones that don't quite?

God, don't think I've ever posted in S&B before.

Have to decide in next 3/4 hour.

BN ones - you will feel scuffy in shabby shoes!

Sure? Don't match bag/shrug/brown in dress?

What colours?

2sugars · 21/06/2008 07:20

Dress is green and brown, everything else apart from green cardi is brown. Chocolate brown. Ordered shoes from internet, they arrived yesterday, and they're the wrong brown

Can you give the batered shoes a bit of a lick and polish?

2sugars · 21/06/2008 07:49

They're nubuck. Some has worn off, but I've given them a spray of colour restorer.

I've got this problem - bought a gorgeous silk suit off ebay to wear to a wedding in September, thinking I had red shoes that perfectly matched it - they do, but they're so old (1980's!) that the colour is flaking off in patches... if i buy any more shoes DH will divorce me!

So no advice but I do sympathise!
