Are these frumpy?!

Hi all,
I've been searching for some lightweight jeans, found these from Next. They are so comfy and I think they'll be perfect for warmer days, travelling etc. But...
Are they frumpy/ totally un-stylish?! Not trying to offend if anyone owns them! Just I'm trying to update my summer wardrobe and look a bit more put together. I also quite like the matching blouse and am thinking of ordering that too...
Please speak up before I commit a crime against fashion! All opinions welcome. Thank you x

Thanks for all the responses! I've decided to keep them, because I like them. Will try a few different tops and see what works. Might swerve the matching top though, a few people have said about the pyjama vibe and I think I'm inclined to agree!

I think they are nice, though I wouldn't really think of them as jeans, if that makes sense?

And I actually just came on to say the pyjama thing, about the matching top! But I think they would look nice with a vest top in a contrasting colour, for example.

I saw a woman at the airport last year in a very thin cotton long sleeve shirt and wide leg trousers in blue and white stripes and I just couldn’t work out if she was wearing PJs or a Co-ord set, particularly as it was an early flight. I think I would have worn the top open over a vest.

Depends on if you’re slim, cool and willowy like the model or if you’d look like you were out in your PJs (me).

This. If you’re built like a model—go for it. If you’re built like the average woman (like me), I would give these a swerve.

Glad to hear this op! I am sure you'll look great! I dont think we all need to look like models to wear these, its just trousers and a top?!

Can I ask about the material op? I'm looking for similar but really want soft, light material and not stiff..
