Where can I find a dress like this?

Oh wise S&B Mumsnetters, can you please help me find this dress? It’s by an Australian designer called Leo Lin but it’s sold out as far as I can see, and as much as I love, love, love it, orange is not my colour! It’s also out of my budget.

Has anyone seen anything similar but in a different colour - ideally not black, white, navy, beige or grey as I love how it’s styled in the pic. Budget up to £500 but would happily shop second hand/pre-loved.

M&S have a blue linen one for £40 if you'd go for a MUCH more casual style 😂

That trapeze style asymmetric dress would be so easy to make - if your budget is up to £500, I’d find a dressmaker and get exactly what you want - the stiffness will come from interlining and the dress being lined, so your fabric choices should be quite good, taffeta, scuba, a mid weight crepe. If you’re near London, Borovick Fabrics in Berwick St W1 is excellent. You’ll need 3 metres max, so the fabric and lining will be less than £100.

Not as 60s A-line, but lots of colours.

Or look for an original 60s A-line mini dress.

But I'd go for the orange if I were you! The colour really suits the sixties vibe, it just works.

The other Leo Lin ones are very cute! Alemais has a lot of 60s ones too - but without the high neck. And Sister Jane too.

Thanks everyone but again, nothing comes close. I’m going to order the original dress in the hope it fits and that I can pull off orange!

I hadn’t thought of having it made @minnowonthesay. I’m not near London but I’m sure I could source a decent dress maker in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

I love that as just a little casual day dress @Nodwyddaedafedd!

Was coming to say get it made for you too. Best option, a dressmaker will be able to make i, it's beautiful but simple.

There are others in a similar shape here. But all white, black or grey ...

I have the one in the middle of the bottom row and have gotten so much wear out of it. It's such a versatile shape of dress.
