Boohoo must go to VERY different funerals to me...

Looking for something to wear to a funeral, and found a page on boohoo specifically titled Funeral, that said they had selected these items to help you feel strong on a difficult day. Either things have changed quite a bit since I last attended one, or they might want to tweak their algorithm...

you would be amazed what i have seen at funerals. ok we have moved on from black veils and the like but its gone the other way in my opinion. I know some people state colours perhaps the person stated in their will or something but its not the colour that gets me, its what people wear that the colour is in.

Thanks guys, needed light relief, found it here

Off on a tangent but I quite like the sound of a destination funeral, none of this drab British stuff, but a big carnival/ funeral pyre / party somewhere exciting for those who want to raise a glass or several!

Beach funerals are woefully overlooked by most retailers. Finding something you can wear for Uncle Ragnar's longboat fireship farewell AND Glastonbury is no easy feat.

I might be careful wearing any of those clothes near a naked flame.

Still, it’s all an important reminder that I don’t have a black bikini or dressing gown for funerals. (I do have a both things in tartan, which I guess would be appropriate for a funeral in Scotland.)

That puts a new spin on 'dressing gown of doom'.

The problem is that many people seem to think that everybody is going to be sad attending their funeral. Mostly nothing could be further from the truth. Most of the relatives will be looking forward to the reading of the will.
Lots of crocodile tears at funerals.
Anyway it’s not as though funerals are rare, it’s difficult to get a booking at the crem.
Not many Chinese people die, I’ve never seen a Chinese funeral.

Do you live in China?

Well obviously the dressing gown goes over the sheer dress for the church and burial, then whip it off for the wake.

😂😂😂

I think if you’re the mistress of a gangster and you want to upset his wife at his funeral, you wear one of those dresses.

I would have thought the meaning was clear. Thinking about it I’ve never seen a dead donkey either, have you?
😉😁😁.

Not my idea of how to dress at a funeral.
