Best longer lasting hair removal options before my wedding

I'm getting married soon and I am looking for hair removal methods that last longer than shaving. Legs, underarm and bikini line! All I've ever done is shave. I hate having hair on my legs or underarm so I'm not sure if waxing would be for me because I've heard you have to have hair a certain length before they can be waxed? Am I better off buying an epilator? Any suggestions?

Try Philips Lumea. I bought one be two years ago and use it less than once a month. I wish I had bought one years ago. Keeps my upper lip clear and bikini line tidy.

Thanks for this, I'll look into it

I would go with waxing in your position and perhaps look into laser hair removal in the long term.

wax and then Philips lumea to keep hair from growing. I hardly have to remove hair because of this.

Lumea and laser etc needs darker hair to work. Im too fair.

Waxing - yes you do need to let it grow a bit (bc the wax needs to grab onto the hair) but usually you should be fine to just not shave for a few days beforehand. It does hurt, you will look like a plucked chicken for 24hrs (and also avoid hot baths and sunbathing for 24hrs). Your skin will feel great bc all the dead skin comes away too. Regrowth is slower bc you've removed the hair at the root (and hair is like an iceberg, there's a lot below the surface). How quickly that regrowth is visible will depend on your hair colour. It'll feel finer bc the hairs are tapered (compared to shaving where the hairs are all blunt from being cut).

I'm very fair so I got an epilator last year and it is amazing. I had one back in the day and it was horribly painful but this one is genuinely painless. No plucked chicken look, hairs seem to disappear as if by magic and regrowth is slow. Genuine game changer and I'm about to try it on my underarms next...

It is this one. Had a major discount when I got it.
