We are OVERRUN with clothes. Problem is I don’t know how to get rid as I want to keep it all! Some things are seasonal but I find it really hard to let go! Help!

Step 1 - remove everything that doesn't fit.
Step 2 - remove anything that's too tatty to wear.
Step 3 - consider the removed items for sentimental value and best way of preserving those. (Eg, patchwork teddy etc.)
Step 4 - sell/donate/recycle as appropriate.

As per PPs but also, look for a mum-buddy who has children younger/smaller than yours so that you can hand good quality items directly to someone who will use them.
Or put them on local free sites to go in a bundle.

in addition to the previous poster, work out how many of each item you will need, taking into account the age of your child, how often you do laundry, the season etc.

What is the point of keeping things that:

Are outgrown/don't fit
Are stained
The children don't find comfy.

Anything of sentimental value, you can take a picture.

My DC never had more than a week's supply.

@Foodfumbles I've got the dc's first babygros. The one they wore after they were born - will probs go to ds and dil, a babygro's a babygro. I found dd's first shoes the other day. Not sure why I am keeping them.

Nothing in without something out . EVERYTIME something new is bought then something has to go into a bag to goodwill or someone else.

I personally try to hang all clothes up then all new clean clothes go on the right hand side and then I try to grab clothes from the left handside. At the end of every change of season clothes that are still only the left not worn ( excluding jackets and coats etc) are taken away to charity shops.
