Trendy jeans for curvy women - where do I buy?

Until a few months ago, I bought my jeans from River Island but their waistlines seem to be going lower and lower. With my ever-expanding muffin-top I need jeans that are not low waisted (but not high-waisted either as they don't suit me!) but in trendy styles - Tried M&S, but find their jeans quite frumpy and "old" looking. Any other ideas please?

Monsoon

I like Gap bootcut ones - they have a lowish waist but not stupidly low (I hate low waists with a passion)and they are really flattering. Available in diff lengths too so ideal if a short arse like yours truly.

I wear mine with a lovely old brown leather belt to keep the waist where it should be!

gap?
what size are you?
if standard size they have something for everyone.... and without m and s frump factor...

I have some from FatFace that I rather like. Quite slouchy.

monsoon - have to shop about but some quite forgiving
depending upon your definition of curvy great plains/fcuk I have found are accomodating for larger rear ends
ime gap no govd if you have relatively small waist

I have some Gap jeans that are Curvy Bootcut fit and they are great. Also Oasis jeans are good.

ChopsTheDuck · 19/06/2008 13:53

gap, defo. Long and lean is good, or they do a curvy something or other. Or next slouchy boyfriend slyle for more casual wear.

I just got a lovely pair from New Look

v cheap and look good (not as bootcut as looks on pic in RL)

paddingtonbear1 · 19/06/2008 13:57

I am curvy and gap don't suit me at all, due to large rear/small waist combo!
My faves are Next slouch, RI slouch, Fat Face clovehitch/momo (are they like yours Madonna?). Levis are great too, I find. Or New Look Hula for £10!

MrsBadger · 19/06/2008 14:00

Gap Curvy Booctut are fantabulous but I think are discontinued (boo hiss)
another vote for New Look Hulas

TheFallenMadonna · 19/06/2008 14:00

Gawd. I don't know what they're called

I saw them, I liked them, I bought them.

MrsBadger · 19/06/2008 14:00

or Oasis Scarletts are meant to be good too

RUMPEL · 19/06/2008 14:01

I have a high waist and pear shape and I managed to get a stretchy pair in Sainsburys which fit really well.

TheFallenMadonna · 19/06/2008 14:01

But I do have a large rear/small waist combo, so could well be...

Next Boyfriend are good - they are also very soft, organic denim so v comfy
