Ear lobe split- anyone managed to fix?

I’ve had a split earlobe for years now and I’m finally thinking about getting it fixed.

I came across a post on Instagram saying filler can be used for this, but I’m not sure how legit that is. I’ve also seen a few clinics (especially around Harley Street) offering surgical repair, but I’m a bit sceptical and would love to hear from anyone who’s actually had it done.

Has anyone here repaired a split earlobe successfully? What did you go for, and how were the results?

Ideally I’d prefer something less invasive and not too expensive, but I’m open to hearing all experiences!

Yes my friend had her stretched lobes repaired surgically. Basically the doctor takes a scalpel and cuts off all the scar tissue so there is a wound and then stitches the edges back together. Very quick and simple procedure.

I have stretched lobes and have looked into this. It looks like quite a simple procedure - the only thing holding me back from doing it is the money side of it.

Do you know where she had it done? Thank you

Yes what I’ve seen on Google looks like it would set me back a few thousand pounds!

If it had been sutured when the injury happened, it could have been done in minor injuries for free. As its now healed, the sealed edges would need to be cut off so the opened wounds can heal together. I've seen it done on I think 'Skin A&E' or a similar TV show. No recommendations for surgeons I'm afraid but possibly look at plastic surgeons or possibly ENT surgeons.

@7238SMits from wearing heavy earrings, weirdly I’ve only got it one ear though!
