Trainer advice/plantar/stylish?

I got plantar fascitis a few years back and live in fear it may return! At the time I dumped my converse and started wearing hokas. I walk approx 1.5hrs a day too. Hokas are great but I also want to look more stylish, and I dont think they work with my boxy shape. Online it says get a more streamline pair but im not very trainer savvy. I love the addidas speciliaz ones but I guess im wondering if there are stylish, comfy trainers which would work/not bring the plantar back!

No helpful advice at all I’m afraid - but very interested in the answers. I’m currently living in hateful Hokas too…

My podiatrist recommended various trainers for plantur/Achilles tendonitis - mainly Brooks ones. I ordered several online but had to return them all as they were too uncomfortable. She said the important thing (for me anyway) was a high heel drop. The best solution for me was to go to a running shoe specialist and try lots on, where I bought some Sauconys (Ride 19 is the current version). They are bulky like Hokas but they are great if I'm walking all day.

Otherwise if I'm wearing trainers for a short time, I've got some slimline ones which are fine - M&S animal print with Insolia Flex, & Gola suede Vipers. I can't wear very flat trainers or shoes.

A friend who also has plantur swears by Vionics trainers, but they didn't work for me either.

Hope you manage to find some.

Fitflop are brilliant for PF. They do trainers now too.

I used to have pf and the fitflop trainers with the micro wobble board ( whatever that is 😃) are very comfortable. I have the f mode ones.

I bought some trainers from Vionic when my PF was bad

Not had plantar fasciitis flare up since switching to Hoff trainers 4 years ago. They are slim looking and seen to support the arches well, plus they come on lots of colour combos!!

I had PF very bad in my left foot all last year. It gradually just went one day! But I still have to take 1 naproxen a day to keep the PF as well as my Left hip pain at bay.
So I always wear my New Balance trainers.. I have 4 pairs, 1 pair is for work where I’m on my feet for 7 hours.
I always replace the insoles with high arch insoles that I buy from Amazon (by Valsole, £19) especially for PF.
I like New Balance basically as they look good, are in fashion, feel comfortable & light, and the insoles are removable.

Which new balance trainers do you wear? X

I wear NB 574 and have had no issues since with my feet. Have tried other brands/makes, but these suit my feet perfectly.
