Anyone tried Snag tights?
Are they worth the money?

I was going to suggest Better too.

Yes, brilliant tights. I'm tall and they're the only tights that fit me.

Better Tights are just as good and don’t pander to fetishy men.

I also recently got some tights from
M and S that are every bit as good and were £9 for 3 pairs. I’m still on the first pair 9 months later and they’ve been washed/worn/washed/worn multiple times good as new.

Sadly yes, anything else is rubbish in comparison. They last a long time though and are fairly difficult to snag

Better tights are better. Over the last two years my Snag tights have gone through on the toes the first time I’ve worn them, and the crotch also heads rapidly for my knees. This never used to happen and I have tights that are five or six years old that are still going strong, but they are not what they used to be.

Their politics and advertising campaigns ar pretty awful and I won't buy from them anymore but They used to be fantastic, I have pairs 6 years old still going strong but the ones I've bought in the last 12-18m are absolutely dire, I emailed them about it and their response was shit, they don't give a fuck about the quality tbh.

Better tights are much more like old Snag quality and the customer service is excellent.

They’re good but my older ones have lasted years and I’ve had some newer ones that bobbled on the feet - not a problem because I wear them with shoes so it’s not visible.
i don’t think they’re particularly more expensive than other tights are they?

Snag were fantastic but I won't buy again for the reasons outlined above. The man in 'My Little Pony' tights gave me the permanent ick.

Better tights also chose to feature some polyamourous bloke with a blue beard in tights for a while.

Who knows who drives this weird desperation for sellers of tights to pander to oddballs. Must be lucrative?

Great tights and chub rub shorts but I can't justify the price. I've gone back to M&S, the slightly more premium ones and I'm getting on fine. When I hand wash they last a long time and never ladder.

Ask me a year ago, and I would have said yes - becuase I have had pairs last for years before. The new batch have been really bad quality, particularly ripping at the toe seam and laddering in such a way they can't really be rescued and worn again. Its a shame as I love the colours but I'll be wary going forward.

I'm.glad I'm not the only one who really disliked the advertising campaign! Thank fuck I've never seen the strangulation one.

When I was getting the ads every 2 minutes last year after buying the tights, I came on here to ask if anyone else found the adverts disturbing and got ripped to pieces by MNers accusing me of fatphobia, transphobia and body shaming.

it seems that some people find the quality of Snag has recently declined, and I agree the marketing doesn’t encourage me to buy.

I’m going to investigate other recommendations- Better, Poppy and good old M&S.
