What to take on holiday and where to get it from

Hey- looking for advice.

i am finally taking my 3 kids abroad next month. I haven’t been on holiday for years and years - and since having 3 kids, i am struggling with my clothes. I live in the same 3/4 outfits since I have put on a bit of weight and none of my summer clothes fit me (I am now a 10/12, but was a size 8 so not a massive amount of weight but a lot for me).

i am not overly fashionable, and don’t have loads of money to keep buying clothes, but id like a few bits to take away with me. Where is best to look for holiday clothes?

FYI I am late 30s, 5’7 little bit of a mum pouch. Nothing else remarkable about me

I get a bit bored looking online, but if anyone has any suggestions for sites for basics but nice I’d appreciate it!

what is everyone taking in their cases?

What sort of holiday is it, city break, beach resort?

If it's a beach resort , you could look for some nice pool/beach cover ups on vinted. I do this as I don't want to spend a lot of money on clothes i won't wear in the UK, but I still want to look nice. I mainly search for Next and have found some nice cover ups and I intend to use them again this year.

Sorry that would help haha it’s a beach holiday. We won’t be doing much - it’s an all inclusive resort, so will spend a lot of time there rather than sight seeing.

pool cover ups are a good idea thank you

If you’re on a budget, Primark is great for holiday stuff. I got shorts and vest tops there last year, plus a lovely beach cover up and some sliders. They all washed well and will be fine for this year. I don’t see the point in spending loads on holiday clothes.

I like F&F at Tesco for swimwear (particularly when they’ve got their 25% off club card offer on!)

I tend to wear oversized linen shirts as cover ups.
