Profhilo- anyone had it?

Has anyone had Profhilo?

I've had fillers (very subtle) a few times but I'm thinking about profhilo and having a consultation on it with my cosmetic dr.

I don't have any wrinkles, but the filler was to restore volume to my upper cheeks, nose to mouth lines and downturn at the corners of my lips.

At the moment I'm more concerned about some looseness at the top of my cheeks which can't be filled as it would create a ridge or make my eyes appear sunken.

I know I need to speak to her about it but just wondered if profhilo does restore voulme.

Sorry, I can't help but I have heard people say it's not worth it

You've mentioned using fillers to correct downturn at mouth
You mean around the lips? I was just looking at that today. I didn't know you could do that. I've reached the stage are I don't really understand how people are using fillers - seems to be a lot of clever ways to use them

Profhilo is essentially an injectable moisturiser. It does not restore volume. I’m sure your doctor will confirm this. You could look into Sculptra which does offer some subtle improvements in collagen over time. Or an energy based treatment like Neogen Plasma or Morpheus 8. Be very clear with your doctor about what you want to achieve.

I’ve had it done and my skin did look plumper but also hard to say what the true results would be on their own as I had my Botox at the same time. I will say whilst it didn’t lift in the way I would have wanted (Morpheus8 is on my wish list for this!) my skin did look more youthful and I did have a lot of comments on this…I guess I’m trying to say it’s subtle.

I was starting to get what are called marionette lines. No, not lips.

They are lines / folds that go from the corners of your lips to your jaw and create a saggy fold which can make you look miserable. There are LOADS of online images of these.

I had the tiniest bit of filler - I think she started at the chin and worked upwards - then it's massaged to move it along the wrinkle/ fold.

It's been brilliant. Cost just over £300 and so far it's lasted for a year.

@MorePlantsYES thank you

Worth thinking about.

Yes I had it done. I saw absolutely zero difference.
