Does this bath product exist? (I'm not sure it does...)

I occasionally enjoy relaxing in a mildly scented bath, but am struggling to find the right bath product. Can anyone help? Definitely not oil. Probably not bubble bath (although a bubble bath without the bubbles would be perfect). Not bath bombs - lovely but too expensive. Thanks.

I got some Neom bath stuff for Christmas. It doesn't foam up at all. And isn't oily. It smells botanical. It disappointed me, because I like bubbles or oil and foudn the smell a bit too earthy. But could be what you are after.

If not, just add a few drops (3-6 no more) of essential oils to your bath - geranium, lavender, orange, chypre etc. They will scent it without bubbles or grease.

You need a L’Occitane bath milk or the Elemis milk bath. I wouldn’t go Radox or Badedas as they contain alcohol and a ton of detergent and foaming agents so they really dry the skin

stayathomegardener · 01/04/2026 09:47

I just use 5 drops of essential oil, doesn’t make the bath oily.

Cosmication · 01/04/2026 09:49

Bath salts surely

watermybegonias · 01/04/2026 10:09

Run your bath, then add the Badedas or whatever and gently slosh it round. Minimal bubbles, maximum enjoyment.

Bath salts. Neals Yard does some lovely ones.

You need to be a bit careful about adding essential oils directly to your bath, as some of them can irritate your skin quite badly. If you want to use essential oils, it's best to add them to a carrier oil first (like almond oil), as this stops them interacting directly with your skin. Speaking from experience of getting quite badly hurt using grapefruit oil directly in the bath!
