Chunky knit, ethical brand cardie for 18yr old - any ideas???

I'd like to get my daughter a nice chunky knit cardie for her birthday. She'll be 18 and is not very interested in fashion. She likes quite plain and simple clothes, but I think she'll love something soft, cosy and probably white that she could keep for a good few years. Budget up to £100/£150.
Could anyone suggest a brand or two to look at? I was looking at Anthropologie, but not sure if that is middle aged! As I say, she's not that into fashion but I think would appreciate something her friends would approve of, if that makes sense!
We'll probably look together, but a steer would be good. I think she'd prefer an ethical brand.

Not necessarily ethical, but I got a chunky knit 100% wool cardigan from Autograph M&S. I did get it at 70% off, but it was £130 in the first place, so in budget.

I only found it because my 3 DDs (late teens to mid 20s) were eyeing it up. I think their middle aged mum buying it put them off. Sorry DDs.

Anyway, it's very lovely.

I was very pleased with a recent wool cardigan from Other stories so I vote this: https://www.stories.com/en-gb/product/wool-cardigan-cream-1317915002/

Not sure about ethical but something well made that lasts and doesn't go into a bobbly mess is a good start.

Sezane have lovely knitwear in loads of different colours. They are said to be an ethical company

Celtic and Co are in your price range, have some lovely, traditional style sweaters with beautiful patterns and are a BCorp.

A lot of these suggestions are cardies for women, not 18 year olds . The palome one is probably the best out of all the suggestions, beige, grey or navy, classic or oversized, no quirky mum bright colour clothes or middle aged professional smart casual cardies, if you’re thinking something her friends might approve of, but she’s your daughter you should already know , and at that age, if she hasn’t told you or given a good idea, then it is not worth wasting £100+ on something she hasn’t had a say in.

Ireland's Eye Knitwear , lovely shaping and a nice range of colours:)

They do some great modern takes (both shape & colour-wise) on the traditional Aran jumper. I love them. They'll last really well & are really resilient - including to dirt (even the cream ones!!). Though if cosy means fluffy, they're probably not quite what the OP is after.
