Does anyone else find Uniqlo stores and website overwhelming to shop?

Influencers obviously love it and I'll admit to being influenced into buying the barrel leg jersey trousers, which I love. However I find going into the store overwhelming and the website is not much better. I find the sheer volume of clothes, the shelving height and lack of open space frustrating, I can't find anything. It makes me want to avoid (DH likes theirs clothes so we still pop in). Maybe it's because we don't have a store locally so I'm only in there about once a quarter.

For me it's the opposite of Zara (at opening, when it's tidy) which is usually very well spaced and you can see most of the store from any spot.
I like to feel I'm getting a bargain too and Uniqlo don't have enough reductions for me. I probably miss the sales tbf

I find the stores overwhelming too, which is a shame as I like many of their clothes. I just seem to walk out having either bought nothing, or with yet another bag!

I agree with a PP about the low-ish table displays and very high shelving. I'm fairly short which I think makes it feel even more cramped and claustrophobic.

Also, at first glance many of their styles are similar, as is the colour range across styles. That, together with most being plain rather than patterned, makes it difficult to spot what you're after.

Yes, thank goodness it's not only me. I've been in my local store about 3 times to have a look, after people have raved about their stuff on here, but have come out empty handed. It's all too much, I can't find what I'm looking for and end up going round and round in circles, the sizing I can't work out and sometimes the colours seem weird.

All I'm after are some simple basics, t-shirts, vests, joggers etc but am defeated every time!

In fact, I've just realised that the only Uniqlo clothes I've ever successfully bought have been from charity shops!
I don't buy clothes online unless I already have an identical item from the same brand and cam be sure of the fit and sizing, so opting to buy online instead of braving the stores isn't a route I want to go down.

I like the Covent Garden one - it's currently having a refurb so lets see what has changed. I also find the one in Spitalfields quite manageable.

Yes! I love Uniqlo T-shirts etc but hate hate hate going in their stores. I’m short too and I find it completely overwhelming- shelves are too high, not enough space to move around and the whole experience is really claustrophobic.
