Cool clothes for 25 year old male

Want to buy my nephew a sweatshirt or similar as a birthday present. I also give him money but want him to have an actual present to open on the day. (both parents passed away)

He's 25 and works in the music business. I'm the most uncool auntie ever. DH equally uncool.I've been trying to pay attention to what brands young people are wearing now but unable to see a trend. Passenger? Represent?

Can anyone help? (So much easier when he was over the moon with a lego set!)

25 isn’t ’young people’! Or, at least, it’s beyond that interminable, annoying stage where they have to be dressed exactly like all their friends. So you possibly don’t need to be quite as worried about the right label as you might when they were 17.

But every generation seems increasingly concerned with environmental issues (when it comes to consumer goods rather than data energy …) so a brand with exemplary ethics might be appreciated.

(Should have said I’m also an aunt to someone of that age.)

Good shout! He is very environmentally conscious - teetotal and vegan - so that would make sense. Thank you!

Probably the next best thing to sourcing on Vinted - which would be a bit haphazard for a gift!

Folk have done a eco friendly line called ‘It’s All Good Folk’ that might be worth looking into as an alternative option.

ooh risky. Buy with a gift receipt so they can change/refund if need be.
H&M is usually a safe bet - a lot of nice cotton stuff. They have comfy mens loungewear with "trousers" that are drawstring almost pyjamas that are really on trend at the moment. Their hoodies seem to last well too.
If he likes "darker" clothing Killstar have some good large T shirts, long sleeved tops and sweatshirts.
Is there something he was really into as a child? - you could get a merch t shirt for him to wear ( in bed , if not brave enough to wear out and about). Uniqlo have an adult Pokemon range just in - with a big Charizard T or T's with small graphics of a range of pokemon if you like more discreet. They also have a lot of simple but good stuff too. A lot of high street retailers have "character" lines.
