Welcome back (or welcome in!) to our little corner of beauty bliss, where shelves are full, wish lists are longer than ever, and there’s always something new to try.
This thread has been around for ages (since at least 2015), and many of us have even tamed our beauty-buying habits thanks to the wisdom and support shared here. We post our empties and chucks, helping each other make smarter, more satisfying choices next time we shop.

Here are mine! I haven’t included many minis as I would have to put in half the stash if I did
🙂 but the masks and samples are a good start.

I took some of my mask stash to a festival I volunteered at in the summer and a few of my fellow crew enjoyed them! I also shifted 2 of the Liberty Zephirine samples that way. They’re a good bunch and we all work hard so it was a nice treat.

Recent empties, 151-161

Centellian 24 Expert Madeca Cream. Lasted well but a bit too heavy for me. Not a rp. Ok but not love.

Trinny London Be Your Best GEP balm cleanser mini. Lovely texture but not 100% effective at removing make-up.

Sunday Riley Tidal serum 5ml. Didn’t sting etc. but too small to really tell if it does anything!

Curel deep moisture spray. Nice and light as a moisturiser. I’ll need something heavier for colder weather but it was really refreshing during summer and lasted well. Possible rp.

Medik8 C-tetra. I do love this and it lasts well. Will rp in time.

Provoke Go Icy shampoo. Not sure I saw much effect. Probably not a rp.

L’Occitane verbena shower gel 50ml. Lovely. Would repurchase. Nice smell and good frothy bubbles.

Got2b glued hairspray. The teen’s preference. It’s very firm! We’ll probably always have it knocking about.

Dr Pawpaw 7in1 hairstyler. Teen again. Not sure if they liked it.

Vaseline Active Fresh anti-perspirant. Another teen empty. Think they liked it, they’re quite keen on personal hygiene at the moment!

Tresemme rich moisture conditioner. Family staple. We have a few under the bath.

I’m currently reviewing my lip balm, might have to ditch a load but I’m hoping I can overcome the problem and get back to my beloved Blistex!

@Francestein I might see if I can get a specialist appointment somewhere after Christmas though they're quite expensive. I think I'm entering perimenopause not sure if it would be too soon for hrt for me?

@TryingToFindMyStyle thank you I will look into these as I'm not loving the Aveeno.

@PuppyKeep they prescribed Mometasone hair lotion but nowhere had it so got prescribed Betacap. No all my bloods came back clear so no answers there. I have to contact my gp again if the lotion doesn't work. Going by Google it might have been the combination of vitamins/supplements I was taking that has sent my hair follicles into shock, no idea if this is true though.

I need to get cracking with the eye patches, they’ll be my Nov masks/minis project.

Elemis superfood day cream - this is fine, it does the job but I’m not sure why I always end up buying it on the Jet2 deal. I blame the altitude

elemis body wash - a hotel mini, good product

Rodial pink diamond hand cream - effective but I hate the scent

Rituals pillow spray - lovely, relaxing

Arran aromatics pillow spray - no so keen bit towards aftershave, resisted bring more home from Malmaison stays.

Finished a Clinique all about eyes last night. It was a staple for me but I’m moving away from Clinique so won’t be buying again.

Not technically a beauty product but also finished a pot of sage leaf and red clover I’ve been taking to help with peri menopausal hit flushes. Not convinced it did anything!

@MsMarch ay bollackas! That is so annoying! Really hope you are having a wonderful holiday despite leaving the goodies behind!

@DidILeaveTheGasOn love your plan! And yes I will join in - I do not have many mini items but I am going to try my best to ramp up my skincare routine - I have been very patchy of late and my skin is telling me so!

I have an empty:

• Biore UV Aqua Rich SPF 50: blooming love this stuff! Goes on like a dream. No white cast. No yucky taste. No stinging eyes. Where has it been all my life????

134. Aromatherapy Associates rose roller ball scent - I've had this for years, tried to sell on vinted no takers!
135. - Margaret Dabbs Nail and Cuticle serum - CBA
136. - Lacura SPF 50 - really good but been open more than a year so binning.
137 and 138. - Paw Paw tinted balm - I really don't like the texture of this on my lips but it's okay as a blusher.

139. • Ex Nilho perfume from last year's LBTY BAC, really nice
140. • Bibbi Ghost of Tom - love this, might treat myself to a big bottle one day.
141. • Floral Street Arizona Bloom - okay but wouldn't RP.
142. • Augustinus Bader Body Cream, really nice but spenny.
143. • Cowshed Shower Gel - not keen on this range wouldn't RP.
144. • Granado Parma Violets? It was okay.
145. • LUSH Protect the Galaxy shower gel - okay, but the gel felt a bit thin iykwim.
146. • Kate Somerville Exfoliate Cleanser - this was really nice.
147. • Saltworks Brown Sugar - my favourite.
148. • Formula Advanced Face cream - I liked this, sank in nicely
149. • L'Occitaine Dry Skin Hand Cream - lovely.
150. • Pixi eye liner, went on well but didn't last long!

Wow 150 used up. It's a shame I've bought loads more for Christmas 😭. I couldn't stop myself!

@Minnie123456 I have been on HRT for about six years - tried different combos etc. Happy to answer any questions about my experience.

I have two empties:

• Monday clarify shampoo: absolutely LOVE this shampoo and would absolutely RP. That said, it seems to be increasingly hard to find - they have other ones but for me the clarify bit is important as I have oily roots.
• Super Facialist vitamin C+ cleansing oil: well thank GOD that is done with - lasted such a long time. Ok to use but to be honest the Simple one is way cheaper and just as good.
