Help!
live in leggings and oversized jumpers, but have an “informal chat” coming up to discuss a possible role in an organisation. It’s in London, and I know the team do smart causal very well, they are all incredibly slim and team pics suggest wide black trousers/ shirt or dress with tights is their look. I’m a 12-14, any pointers on something I can look for on vinted as funds are low and I don’t want to spend too much in case I don’t get the job. My guess is my go to maxi dress will not be the right look!

You don't have to wear the same clothes as others to be dressed smartly. If your maxi dress would fit in the smart casual category and you feel confident in it then wear it. Team pictures are snap shots of the day it was taken. Dress to feel confident and like yourself or you risk feeling "off" during the interview.

On vinted I would search for wide leg trousers, I personally like m&s trousers as they come in different lengths and I am short. Then maybe a silk shirt?

I always thought one would dress slightly more formal than the normal work attire at an organisation for an interview, even if ‘informal’. A blazer always pulls together an outfit, and if your maxi dress is a fairly straight solid colour then a blazer over it would work well. Or over any trousers other than leggings or jeans. A simple cami, tank or slim fit t shirt underneath. I’m sure Vinted or local charity shop has loads of blazers - check out the men’s section too.
