Update my pencil skirts please

So the last time I was in the office it was all pencil skirts, killer heels etc…

I have loads in my wardrobe - is there any way to update these so I can get some wear out of them ?

I think it's probably going to be hard to make them look current my first thought was keep a hold of them til they come back into fashion if you really like them! I know exactly the style you mean as I also had several but was happy to get rid lol!

I like PP's idea of wearing with a oversized chunky sweater. I feel for you OP I clocked myself in the mirror the other day and my comfortable and practical skinny/slim chinos look really dated, I think I'm going to put them away and look at something a little looser like a straight leg. I do love my wide leg trousers but they aren't always practical for my job.

From what I was reading today in the WhoWhatWear blog, pencil skirts are back for spring. Not with killer heels, though. Thankfully.

I think a pencil skirt suits everyone and is a wardrobe classic so doesn’t date in my opinion. Crisp, white coloured shirt tucked in or loose jumper over with dainty ankle boots and tights?
