Petite navy suit for work - Hobbs, Reiss, cuts and other options…

Hi. I would like to / need to invest in a smart business suit for upcoming events, trade shows, visits, weeks of these things on horizon. Any advice is welcome as I have never bought a smart suite.

My two non-negotiables are that the blazer is petite cut for my small build and the trousers have a proper taylored waistband, not elastic at even partly. So far, I have identified Hobbs and Reiss to offer both options. Are there any UK retailers that can offer the same? Marks and Next only seem to have elasticated trousers. Between Reiss and Hobbs - is one of them better than the others? Double breasted or single breasted? Reiss seem to pair double breasted with wide leg only, but I wonder if single breasted jacket and flared trousers will work better? I also like the tulip shaped skirt that comes with Reiss blazers, but again with what blazer?

Whistles and Phase Eight offer petite workwear.

Whistles, especially Limited Edition tailoring, is far superior to Reiss or Hobbs imo.

I wear a lot of trouser suits, the 50% wool Whistles and Reiss suits are not comparable imo.

I'm not sure how much of the range Whistles makes in petite but worth looking at.
