What's currently stylish for glasses wearers?

I need new glasses and not sure what are current right now. The last time I bought, it seemed that clear plastic, largish frames were the "in thing." I can't wear metal frames as my lenses are too thick (even after thinning). What are up to date at the minute? I don't know where to look for inspiration.

I’m -10 and even with maximum thinning I’ve been told to avoid metal frames.

I’m -9 and wear contact lenses as well as glasses. I would wear glasses full time but the strong lenses make my eyes look tiny and the bigger ‘windows’ make my eye bags look huge! I really need smaller rectangle frames to mitigate that but they are not as popular now, it’s all bigger chunky frames.

I struggle to wear lenses these days - I did for about 30 years (including varifocal) but my eyes feel so dry now. If I knew years ago how much i would spend on eyewear, I'd have considered having my lenses replaced

I have to wear my glasses more in the winter as my eyes get so dry. But I feel
so godamn fugly in them!
I’m just about to try varifocal contacts so I’ll see how it goes.

My varifocals were just about ok but I ended up then having to carry off the shelf reading glasses because they weren't precise enough to read a menu etc. They were still better than wearing glasses all the time though when I went out.
