Looking Good I Like It GIF by VisionExpress

...if you do anything either at home or in salon beyond mascara?

mother nature/peri has taken my previously dark lashes and replaced them with sad, short, straight little imposters.

I don't know what options are out there as I've been running around after young dc for the last era of my life.

helppppp, I am already tired ....but the lash situation makes me look like a mole emerging mistakenly into the sunlight - see actual footage attached

I'll have a look thank you. Sorry I didn't see your thread from before

Wonder if I can use serum and the lolas shorter ones for like an immediate boost and a longer term regrowth combo

@tealandteal it's interesting that you've found that. I'm worried about my post baby skin being more sensitive too...I managed to have a baby and then hurtle straight into my 40s and my skin is like I'msorrywhatnow

I use Lola's lol lashes. The are pre glued clusters & stay on about 5 days. It took me a couple of goes to really get it tight but they are fabulous once you do. I find the shorter ones stay on better (& at my age I don't want ridiculous lashes) as I'm a side sleeper.
I use the 8 or 10mm ones.

Hi @Wonderknicks I'm so sorry I'm back with more questions!

Please can you tell me exactly what you put in your basket? I feel like I need a PhD in Lashology...I can't understand all the various things I need, I have used falsies on occasion and it's just a strip of lashes with the glue in the box....🫠 These aren't all in one box?

Ive been going for a Korean lash lift & The difference is unbelievable you couldn't really see my lashes at all before even with mascara.

I've just googled this and it sounds interesting. Would you mind sharing roughly how much you pay for this?

I'm not sure there's anyone in our town offering it - I've not seen any mentions anyway - but I will definitely be happy to travel to have it done

The pre glued ones are a small cluster of lashes that are, well, pre glued. You use tweezers to place them on your own lashes, I have used them and they look lovely and last well. Others have mentioned the magnetic ones which sort of snap on I think but I have never used them, they look good though. I use these. Lots of people seem to use Lola’s.

Another vote for the pre glued under lash cluster lashes. Lola’s are good but I prefer Tatti lashes - just find it’s a more natural look. Think the ones I use are called one step press. It takes a little practice but there are lots of videos to help.

I've just looked at the website again & I see what you mean. I use these ones for "everyday" use:
Soft Cocoa Brown Single Length Pre-Glued Lashes https://share.google/Oza43bJJqiZtWGzgB
I also have some with 8 & 10mm & I'll probably use those if dressing up a bit more, or maybe some black ones that DD bought me. I was looking for the most natural look possible. I'm in my 60s & don't wear a lot of make up etc but was just fed up of my sparse lashes.

Wonderknicks · 15/03/2026 22:29

And you don't put them on your lashes, you put them under your lashes on the water line. It's where I was going wrong to start with. I still struggle to keep them on when I wash my hair or swim, but others seem to manage.

I could just re-use the long, dark hairs mother nature deems fit to put on my chin in peri? that would be natural and recycling!

🤣🤣🤣
