Help me find an outfit for my baptism

At Easter I’m being baptised, confirmed and taking first communion. I need to wear something white. I’ve even told a white blouse or scarf would be ok but since I’d have to buy one anyway I’d rather get something nicer and feel less like I’ve just turned up after work. I’m a size 10, hourglass turned apple with massive boobs.

I looked at this but fear it may be see through irl:

Are all three ceremonies just in a church, particularly the baptism ... or does the baptism involve a dunking/submersion type scenario? That dress is very nice, suitably modest and you could get use out of it beyond your special day. One of the reviews refers to it being see-through but you could wear a slip underneath.

You need something that you’ll wear again so it has to be flattering, so you need something that highlights your waist which that dress does but button down the front dresses don’t always work when you’re busty.

Wrap dresses would probably enhance your shape better, how about https://www.next.co.uk/style/sv056011/v72511

This is pretty but depends how busty you are https://www.hobbs.com/product/clementine-cotton-embroidery-dress/0126-5404-1144L00-WHITE.html#navAjax=true&is=true&cgid=clothing-dresses&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&prefn1=refinementColor&prefv1=White|Ivory&pid=0126-5404-1144L00-WHITE&pos=8

No immersion but yes it’s all in a church so needs to be modest. It’s at night and will be by candlelight.

Thank you, wrap dresses always seem like they should suit my shape but I think my waist is too high and they just look like I’m boobs on legs and they gape. The second dress is very pretty but would look too low cut on me and might be a bit summery for an early April evening.

The dress looks great - I would want a jacket over top but it sounds as if it would be okay for this to be a different colour. If you're anxious about transparency, could you wear a slip underneath?

I think the dress you've chosen yourself is lovely. Fresh, pretty, appropriate and you'll get subsequent wear out of it I'd bet. You could put a cami and half slip underneath if you fear the see-throughness. Do you need a cardigan or jacket to go with it?
