Its like waxing I'm afraid - you get them for a couple of hours after epilating.

I don't think so. I usually use the epilator in the evening and then the red mark have usually gone down by the morning.

Last time I got my legs waxed they were AWFUL for a week afterwards... by which time the hairs had started growing back and I couldn't wear a skirt anyway.

WASTE OF MONEY - ooh think that's the 1st time I've used that emoticon -had to look it up!

did read something telling you to have shower/ bath first to open up pores, then epilate, and then no bath/ shower for 24 hours. Have tried this and it has helped - I also try and scrub legs day or 2 before. I have really sensitive skin but this has helped

Thanks,

I am used to the redness. I have beenusing it for years...sometimes it is worse/longer lasting that others though. It seems worse more recently.

It was more of a "I wonder if MN knows how to prevent/reduce this effect post".

I shall try the shoer first next time...
