Mobile hairdresser- what happens?

This might sound odd and I realise each one might be different.

Do they somehow wash your hair in your sink/shower or you do wash it yourself beforehand?

Do they cut it outside in the garden or in the house?
Do they sweep the hair up with your broom and dispose in my bin or do something else?
Yes, I know I can ask when I book, but would like an idea beforehand.

I've used a mobile hairdresser for years. DD1 and I wash our hair before she arrives. DD2 the hairdresser just sprays, DH just has his dry cut. We sit in the on a chair in the dining room (laminate floor) and sweep afterwards ourselves. Hair goes in the dustbin. It costs £45 for four of us so I'm more than happy to sweep myself at that price.

Mine does my colour so she washes it with the shower over the bath
cuts it in the kitchen & we sweep/vacuum afterwards. Only time we did it outside was after Covid

My hairdresser asks you wash your own or she sprays it.
Sweep up ourselves (but £30 for 3 of us can't complain).
Since covid we've been asked to provide our own cape or towel. I bought a cheap cape from amazon.

I wash and condition my hair as close to the appointment as possible. She likes it damp.
I sit at the kitchen table (tiled floor) , and she spreads her stuff out on the table. she sweeps and I pick up the tiny bits with the vacuum. Ensure there's a power point (s) nearby for the hair dryer etc.

Mine just sprays it wet and then I clean up after. It’s so much cheaper and so much easier for my autistic daughter so I don’t mind the trade off. It’s definitely not a relaxing, self care sort of experience but the woman who comes is lovely and my kids are happy.

Mine just comes, colours it. I go up and wash my hair out. Then he trims it, blow dries etc.

Some great tips, thank you.

Mine just sprays with water. Takes 10 minutes to cut. Then dh's turn. We sit in the kitchen. Hoover up hair. Easy peasy.
