Looking for stylish arch support trainers

catshatsandchats · 02/03/2026 14:22

I'm looking for two pairs of trainers, one pair for now and another pair of white canvas trainers for summer, but both must have arch support, as last year I wore flat trainers and ended up with PF.

Any suggestions? Not looking to spend more than about £60, but happy to shop around for discounts/Vinted etc.

Skechers have an arch support range. Might not qualify as stylish though!
Vionic are comfortable but probably too expensive

Vionic have some that are quite stylish (search past the ones that are not). They are generally above your budget but you might get lucky in a sale. They were amazing when I had PF.

I do not recommend Skechers. They’re not really supportive enough. Fit-flop are the best for me. They might be too expensive though.

You could buy a pair of insoles with arch support. I bought some on Amazon and replaced the existing insole in my current shoes with the arch support ones.

I live in fit flops and have bought two pairs of trainers for about £60 / £65 in the outlet part of their website. Also sometimes amazon has them reduced.

I suffered with PF and now wear arch support insoles in most of my shoes, so I have more choice of footwear.

The Pro 11 wellbeing insoles on Amazon are really good. I've been using them for a few years now.

Buy insoles, I got a pair off Amazon a physio reccomended because the arch is high.

Yea those are the one I use too. Cheap and do the job.

Thanks everyone. I do have some insoles, so might buy some more. Will they fit in Converse style trainers?

@catshatsandchats you have to get the pricey insoles though, approx £15. I have a few in my trainers though I gave away my converse as felt they were too flat generally.

Vivo Barefoot shoes healed my plantar fasciitis.

The best insoles you can buy, are custom measured ones from a podiatrist.

If you must have converse, you will have to size up but the podoatrist has cautioned against them, and Sketchers to dd and me.
