do you need to use anything ? I presume you mean on top of foundation to 'fix' it ?

LadyOfWaffle · 16/06/2008 19:26

Can you mix a powder with a moisturiser?

southeastastra · 16/06/2008 19:28

the Laura Geller range is amazing, it's basically baked creams to a powder finish.

Very soft, no different in application to powder apart from it never looks cakey or dries into crags lines as it was liquid and is now powder.

from QVC - watch one of her shows and you will see how easy it is to apply - it's incredibly popular in the states

I don't use foundation in summer just her balancing powder, a very weird looking swirly colour of brown, orange, pale tan which when applied looks like a light tan/balanced complexion (I am super pale like Nicole Kidman and it works great for me if applied lightly). Again, it's one of her baked cakes.

I heart it

MAC blot powder compact - just pat it where you need it - 'tis wondrous & invisible.

harpomarx · 16/06/2008 20:41

MAC Mineralize, really good (speaker as a reformed loose powder addict who has had to relearn the rules!)

zoe01 · 16/06/2008 22:02

body shop do a face base it is a pressed powder but you do not need any foundation

zazen · 16/06/2008 22:08

I love lillylolo mineral foundations and powders, eye make up and blushers.

All good, and you can get tiny little tester pots before you buy a big one for about 50p.

They are all SPF15 as well. Excellent.
