Has anyone tried Glaize nails?

These appeared on my FB and look good and with a Dragons Den investment. I have had gel and acrylic in the past but hate the damage to my natural nails and Glaize looked good. I’m interested in any comments.

Yes, I fell for the hype but wasn’t impressed. Used 3 sets and followed the instructions, but each time they started to peel off within 2 or 3 days.

Thank you. I thought that may be the case. I won’t waste my money then .

Not impressed either, I took photos exactly as instructed for templating and they were a really poor fit, very limited colour selection and very thin so they looked as though they'd been cut out of paper and stuck on. Customer service was great though and refunded no quibble.

Also not impressed, I’m afraid, and when I mentioned it on one of their social media channels, they were incredibly dismissive.

Babsandherwabs · 22/02/2026 19:06

My friend had them, not great.

Wonkypictureframes · 22/02/2026 19:46

Hmm, this is depressing. I have some arriving tomorrow!

@user1497787065 I'm in the same boat as you. I'd love to have my nails done regularly but they just don't withstand the gel application and removal process. I'm currently experimenting with stick on false nails (day 4 and 4 have fallen off already....) so was hoping Glaize might be better.

I'm actually quite a fan! Definitely never thought they seemed thin. I agree the fit wasn't perfect, a bit too wide and too square in the corners but I just trimmed them with nail clippers. You have to be really careful with the application that they don't touch or cover your cuticles at all, otherwise that causes them to peel. You also need to be careful they don't overlap the ends of your nails at all - again, causes peeling. You also have to resist any nail fiddling that might be a habit (it is for me!). And they send you 3 hands-worth so if any do come off you can replace them. I normally get 2 weeks' wear out of them but recently managed to eke one set out for 3 weeks.

I found them better on my toe nails. They stayed on for over three weeks in Australia. The finger nails sort of slid off in Tenerife due to the heat.

I have bought some but haven't used them yet. During the buying process they sent me marketing which said the nails were Cute AF nails (or something similar).

My daughter has explained what "AF" means.

That has put me right off. AIBU. I'm a 55 year old woman. Perhaps I'm not their market.

I like them. They last a week or so but are a good alternative to gels which absolutely ruin my nails.

There's definitely a technique to applying so they last longer

Mine were too narrow so clipping was no good. Even if they had fitted properly, they look like paper because the edges are so sharply cut, so the look of them along the cuticle line is odd.

StasisMom · 23/02/2026 09:28

I used them and thought they were decent. I painted top coat over them to help seal.

StillSpartacus · 23/02/2026 09:45

Those who have tried them, do they damage your nails when they come off?
I’m a HCP so rarely do my nails as I can’t wear polish or gels at work. Just occasionally though, it would be lovely to have nice nails for an event. Temporaryness wouldn’t be the biggest issue, but I don’t want to damage my real nails.

Crumbelina · 23/02/2026 09:54

I love them! Mine last between 2-3 weeks each time. I got custom fit and they were pretty much perfect (just needed 1mm to come off a couple of nails next time I ordered).

I have to admit that I wore 4 pairs one after each other and they did make my nails flaky. That said, next time I'll wear one pair then have a break and also get some nail oil to help remove them (instead of peeling them off). That way I'm sure they won't affect my nails underneath.

I'm sure if you wore one pair and used a nail oil to take them off your nails would be fine. When I had gels done I only got them for Xmas and then summer holiday so I got carried away wearing four pairs in a row. But they looked so nice! 😄

StillSpartacus · 23/02/2026 10:00

Thanks @Crumbelina- something to think about maybe.

Crumbelina · 23/02/2026 10:00

Just to add, my feedback is from wearing the nails recently (my first order was in November last year). Glaize might have improved over time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope. I actually think mine might have been in better condition but I was taking collagen, so probably that.

scotchbonnet91 · 23/02/2026 21:18

I also like them, going strong after a week and a half with no chips. Haven’t tried the removal yet though…
