Menopausal skincare for the clueless skeptic

Please help! After decades of low-maintenance outdoor lifestyle I'm teetering on the brink of menopause (50) wondering if there is anything that can help my sensitive blotchy (vascular redness and some sun damage) skin look and feel better. As a skincare skeptic I'd love to hear about products that make a difference on the outside, I'm ready to invest time / money. Also working on the internal side of it.

My current 'regime' is cleansing with Neal's Yard Micellar Water and moisturising with a calendula salve. In summer I try to be good about sunblock (lazy!). I'm prone to rosacea redness and something unknown has triggered nasty eczema around my eyes in the past, so any products I can get samples of first would be ideal.

Am too far from clinics for any course of treatments.

Any advice would be so appreciated, I have been wondering about the following:
Retinol (in context of outdoor lifestyle, and the fact thatI spend a lot of my free time in or on the water which increases sun exposure)
Sunblock for sensitive skin - ideally a spray on mist
Sunblock for eye area
Vitamin serums
Facial Oils
Hydrating masks
Those light mask jobs

Thank you!!! :)

Sorry, no advice, but watching the thread for when some comes along. I'm not an outdoor person but the rosacea, menopause and sensitivity to many products match.

I have very sensitive peri-menopausal skin and really rate Altruist anti-redness cream with SPF50. It soothes the irritation and stops the redness, and the SPF is always going to be needed.

At night I use E45 itch relief gel then Cetraben cream (designed for eczema).

All of these products are under £15 each and they last ages.
