My hair feels increasingly coarse to the touch. Can anyone recommend any good deep conditioning treatments that have helped them?

Similar age and I bought some stuff called 10 in 1 miracle spray by Beauty Works. It’s kind of a gloop in a pump bottle that you brush though damp hair. Stops mine from suffering the coarse frizziness.

Dove 1 minute intensive conditioner, my hair used to be like straw before I found this.

Dove shampoo- I forget the exact one but it's only £2 ish at the supermarket. Although having said that, my youngest told me my hair is "like twine" the other day, so maybe take my recommendation with a pinch of salt 🫠😅

I also use Weleda rosemary hair tonic/spray, it's a leave-in type.

Coconut oil once a week. Slap some on dampened hair, work through with hands, wrap in shower cap and leave for at least 30 minutes then double shampoo.

I do find the night time serums work, you put them on dry hair and seem to wake up with non fluffy smooth hair, at the moment I’m using Elvive Midnight Serum, but I’ve used Kerastase, Percy & Reed. I got a Christophe Robin one in a beauty box, I’m looking forward to using that.

I’ve tried loads but treatments that used to work when I was younger are a lot less effective now. I’m going to get a salon keratin smoothing treatment this summer. They are quite pricey but do leave your hair very smooth and glossy.

I'm a bit younger than you but Pantene bond repair is the best conditioner I've ever used. It's in quite a small tube but it's usually very reduced on Amazon...I often get it for about £3 instead of £10.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I’ll try some out soon.

I’m in my sixties and have found Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner make my hair a lot more manageable-takes away the coarseness. Yes it’s expensive but it lasts for ages and you can often get it on sale. They have invisible oil primer too which is great for tami g frizz. A bottle of that lasts about a year.
