I use the Nutrition Geeks collagen powder, it was £16.99 for a 30 day supply but often have discount codes online. Also has 12g of protein for 50 calories

I get both the marine and the bovine tablets from Holland and Barrett. I wait for a 2 for 3 sale and then I buy the biggest bottles.

Also use Nutrition Geeks Collagen Glow Up. I buy 3 months at a time so it's the equivalent of £14.99 a month, plus you get free Biotin supplements.

After about 4 months, i'm starting to notice the difference in both my skin and hair. But if i'm honest, the main difference so far is in an old shoulder injury which has niggled me for years. Constant pain when I bend my arm back a certain way, I thought I just had to live with it tbph...I realised last week that the pain is gone, completely gone. For the first time in years. I know coincidences happen so it's hard to prove it's the collagen but I think it's very likely.

I would be careful about looking for cheaper because there are lots of cheaper options - but the single serve sachets or tablets/gummies are often such a low dosage you just as well not bother, some as low as 1,000mg a day. The Nutrition Geeks is 14,000mg per serve - when I was researching I couldn't find any competitor that came close for the same kind of price.

Why on Earth has my reply been hidden 😂 I'm just talking about Collagen!

I have just started taking the Freesoul collagen gumming. £9.99 for 60 gummies from Amazon. Taste nice too and great star ratings 😋

soccermum10 · 14/02/2026 10:18

Should of said gummies

Has anyone tried Elavate collagen? They are pretty aggressively marketing at me (my demographic) to the point where I’ve gone from thinking I might buy it to actually going off the idea a bit (plus you’re only getting a decent price if you sign up for a subscription).

I might go with Nutrition Geeks - I’ve been taking capsules from Amazonamzn.eu/d/0f2uUwV4, but apparently the dose is far too low.

ChicGreyZebra · 24/02/2026 16:19

Nutrition Geeks cost me £10 a month because I bought a year’s supply when they had their Black Friday deal.

Underthemagnificentbeechtree · 24/02/2026 16:21

Had you already tried it @ChicGreyZebra ? My worry is that I’d be stuck with loads I didn’t like!

ErwinsCat · 24/02/2026 22:41

I also use nutrition geeks and it tastes fine in coffee.

I've recently tried ancient and brave as they do sachets (for travelling) but I just couldn't stand the taste. Convenient for travelling, expensive, but I prefer nutrition geeks.

BrassedOffTiggy · 24/02/2026 22:45

Another Nutrition Geeks vote…long standing back pain has eased off and I’m hoping will go with continued use. Can’t taste it at all. Dont waste your money on cheap versions. You may as well have a spoonful of sugar.

onestepfurtheragain · 08/03/2026 08:46

I’ve just succumbed to the Elavate marketing… stirred a teaspoonful into my coffee this morning and can’t drink it. It is SOOO saccarin sweet. God knows how I will get it down me. 🤢
