Fine hair advice

I have shoulder length, very fine hair, which gets very greasy at the roots. If I don’t put any product in my hair after washing then it dries really smooth but no volume and gets greasy very quickly. But if I put product in to add volume (and I’ve tried so so many different ones) my hair dries almost sticky and fly away and still doesn’t look nice.

what is the magic combo ? Or do I just have to learn to love what I have.

This was my hair too. I invested in 1/3-1/2 head of extensions to give volume - life changing. I also have been using the recommended tigi for years - its fab. I now look after my scalp and hair with a weekly hair oil soak before washing (not where I have extensions), sounds weird for oily hair but I double shampoo after and use minimal conditioner on the ends only. I have far less

What sort of extensions did you get ? There seem to be lots of options. This might be something I would do.

@MrsPeacockDidIt just micro rings done at home by my hairdresser. I have them moved about every 8 weeks. Honestly, they're the best thing I've ever done.
