For everyday stuff that hasn't irritated me at all I love Pilgrim https://www.pilgrim.net/en-gb

It's shipped from Denmark so takes about a week, but tracking is good and I look out for the 3 for 2 deals. No complaints at all. Returns have been fine.

Pilgrim Jewellery | Jewellery for every soul

My local jewellers for second hand pieces, or Louise Wade for new.

Agapee. It's a French company (online). It's really nice quality.

This place is amazing, but pricey: https://www.anninavogel.co.uk/
Also, really like this shop, if you want to buy in person: https://arullmann.com/ - really worth visiting

If you have time and want something cheaper, try Etsy - they have a lot of small antique sellers, some are really reasonably priced.

Etsy mostly. I like huggies earrings and big chunky gold jewellery. Well gold vermeil anyway.

My current favourite day to day brand is Hermina - Based in Athens, but they do stock some of their items in Harrods and a few other UK stores

I also love Alighieri, which is London based

We live in a retirement area being coastal. Several jewellers here have fantastic pre loved jewellery. Some of the settings are dated but anything can be redesigned.

I've had a couple of pendants made up from gemstones I bought. One from a pawn shop the other jeweller had some loose aquamarines.

Antique shops are another place.

Oh no, that's very dangerous for me. I didn't know about Ruth Tomlinson's jewellery. I love it all too!

I just wish I'd discovered her before we bought my engagement ring.

I wouldn't buy from Alex Monro again. Much as I love his designs the quality is terrible and the gold plated has worn off several of my items.
I tend to buy from a little local second shop and stick to solid gold now.

Monica Vinader has some lovely pieces! I also quite like Oliver Bonas jewellery.

BubblinTrouble · 02/02/2026 21:33

I like kooky bloom. It’s all handmade and with flowers.

I really wanted to treat myself to one of his bee necklaces, but when I went in the shop (middle aged woman), they couldn't have been less interested. I left without.

It's called Hemswell Antiques - they have a website too...

I love it here and would rather browse the website than watch tv 😉
one of my favourite days out.
